The rise of the barn / festival wedding is something that has a lot of hotels I am working with quite concerned. The market is opening up and couples are increasingly looking for “something different” for their big day. The challenge for hotels is to stay relevant in this hip new era whereas the challenge for country properties is to be able to provide the same quality of service and professionalism that hotels do.
I am looking forward to attending and speaking at the Country House Business Innovation Show in Birmingham in November to talk about weddings in this digital age where millennials are so demanding of instant access to information, transparency and accountability.
If you are attending the show please do say hi! I would be delighted to discuss your wedding business or look at trends in the market and share insights and ideas. Information on my talk can be found here. See you in Birmingham!
